ISO 9001 is series of standards that applied to the organization, implementation and maintenance of effective quality management systems. System of international standards ISO 9000 was developed in 1987 by the Technical Committee of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO, International Organization for Standardization).

ISO Standards (ISO) 9001 were adopted by more than 90 countries as national standards applicable to all businesses regardless of their activity, capacity and number of employees.

Principles of Quality Management based on ISO standards:

For the successful functioning of the organization there must be competent management, which is systematic and transparent. Within the constraints of the services of preparing for the certification of the clients management, our experts share their experiences to increase customer satisfaction and performance management, which is compulsory for stability in the organization of the modern highly competitive products and services. The most effective is implementation and maintenance of the management system, developed to continuously optimize the organization's activities, taking into account the views of all interested parties. Efficiency and effectiveness of quality management system depends on the implementation of eight quality management principles:

  • Customer focus
    The organization should look to understand current and future needs, meet their demands, to anticipate their expectations. It is important to continuously monitor the satisfaction of these needs, taking into account gradations in the degree of their importance to the competitiveness of the organization.
  • Leadership
    Managers should give a personal example of showoing commitment to quality. Such a demonstration is implemented by writing a long-term policy of the organization in terms of quality, identify short-term goals and objectives aimed at implementing the provisions of the policy and systematic analysis of the performance management system.
  • Involvement of people
    It is necessary to motivate employees to responsible work and initative in matters relating to the optimization of the organization. A key condition for success is to create a culture of the organization, which core value are people.
  • Process approach
    The process approach is the basis for planning the quality management system conforming to standard ISO 9001:2008. The essence of the process approach is to consider the organization as a set of interrelated processes:
    - all inputs and outputs of processes are identified;
    - parameters of each process affecting its performance are measured and identified;
    - end-users of each process are determined, identified their needs, assessed the degree of satisfaction;
    - Established the relationship of all processes identified with the functions of the organization;
    - Establishes the rights and responsibilities of those involved in the process and assigned an "owner" of each process who is responsible for its performance;
    - while planning the process its resource provision and control action on related processes is taken into account.
  • System approach
    The system is based on an understanding of the mutual influence of the results of all processes of the organization. the contribution and impact of each of the identified processes must be taken into account when setting goals, aimed, for example, to increase the competitiveness of the organization. Thus, only the consideration of the organization as a system while planning control actions may be successful in achieving its goals.
  • Constant improvement
    Constant improvement of the organization should be considered as one of the basic objectives - an organization must constantly develop and meet the rapidly changing demands of the environment.
  • Decisions based on facts
    The most important factor affecting the stability and success of the organization is its ability to access and analyze reliable information and data. Only solutions based on an analysis of intrinsic factors and evidence rather than assumptions and subjective views can provide the effectiveness of the organization all in all.
  • Winning relationships with the suppliers
    Since the organization and its suppliers impartially interdependent relationship built on mutual benefit, increase the competitiveness of both parties. To implement this principle it is necessary to define criteria for selecting and evaluating suppliers, to establish common goals and to exchange information, including trainings.
