Consulting ISO/TS 16949:2009

Standard and technical specification ISO / TS 16949:2009 in conjunction with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, defines the requirements to the quality management system for engineering and development, production, and if applicable, commissioning and subsequent maintenance of products needed for the automotive industry.

In the Russian Federation corresponds to State Standard R 51814.1-2009 (ISO / TS 16949:2009), "Quality management systems. Specific requirements for the application of ISO 9001:2008 in the automotive industry and organizations that produce relevant spare parts."

Requirements of ISO / TS 16949 is primarily developed and applied to organizations, manufacturers of parts and components to customer specifications for automotive manufacturers and their service centers.

Support units in automotive industry, such as centers of design and development, asset management companies or distribution centers as an integral part of an organization can be checked for compliance with ISO / TS 16949, but their management system certification can not be separated from the industrial complex. However, the standard ISO / TS 16949 can be applied to quality management system of all elements of the supply chain.

Implementation and certification of quality management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO / TS 16949 enables the organization to compete with foreign manufacturers of automotive components and provides a commercial advantage when participating in tenders and signing contracts.

Consulting services offered by PRAVO-EXPRESS, consist in the performance of works on the development and implementation of quality management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO / TS 16949:2009. The standard scope of services includes works by four stages:

  • Step 1. Analysis of current management system, which aims to provide the client’s management with the objective information about the degree of conformity of quality management system to the requirements of ISO / TS 16049:2009 and develop a detailed work schedule;
  • Step 2. Consultation seminars to enable managers of the organization understand the requirements of ISO / TS 16949 and the methodology of work organization on developing and implementation of quality management system. Seminar for the staff of the client organization is aimed to learn the requirements of ISO / TS 16949, methodologies of describing the processes, skills, documentation development and team work.Step
  • 3. Methodical assistance in the development of quality management system documentation, which aims to create a documented management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO / TS 16949, including the review and revision of internal normative documentation needed for the effective operation of management system.
  • Step 4. Methodical assistance in implementing a quality management system. The purpose of this phase is to consummate a documented quality management system conforming to the requirements of ISO / TS 16949, reflecting current good practice and working methods of the client organization departments.
